Angela's Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a luxury self contained B&B or Self Catering home situated in the sleepy Gariep Dam Village, 5 minutes from the Gariep Dam.

It is ideally positioned approximately halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town and is suitable for either a single night stay over or for the guests wanting to enjoy superb activities like:

Rose Cottage is divided into 3 separate independent structures namely:

• Hammerkop that can sleep up to 8 guests. It consists of 2 separate bedrooms, with 2 single beds in each room and 2 double sleeper couches in the double size lounge. Hammerkop also has its own kitchen (fully equipped), small dinging room, shower & basin with a separate toilet. There is an 8 seater Lapa & braai outside in the garden at the swimming pool.
• Swallow that sleeps 4. It consists of 2 separate bedrooms, with a double bed in the one room and 2 single beds in the other room. There is an open plan kitchen (fully equipped) & dining room, 2 separate bathrooms and 2 sliding doors that lead to the private 4 seater Lapa & braai.
• Rooibekkie sleeps 2. It consists of 2 single beds that form a double bed. It also has an open plan kitchen, on-suite bathroom and a private 2 seater Lapa & braai.

De Lance Chalets & Coffee Shop

We offer five fully equipped, neat self catering units.

The Chalets are en suite and self catering with:

• microwave
• fridge
• TV and full DSTV with your own smart card.

The Coffee Shop provides an a le carte menu. We also have a bar with a liquor license.

Breakfast is served on request at a rate of R40 p/p. We offer take-aways and serve light meals during the day.

The property is fenced with devilsfork and parking is secure.

bowls and a sleeping basket.
- For those who prefer self-catering, we will deliver a set of preparation utensils, cutlery and crockery to your room.
- For disabled visitors, we have two rooms fully equipped with all amenities. They have access to the Water’s Edge
Restaurant and reception area. There is however no access to the Roof Top Restaurant, Spa or Gym.

Forever Resort Gariep

Forever Resorts Gariep is the perfect stopover between Gauteng and the Cape, 200 kilometres South of Bloemfontein in the Free State, just off the N1. The Resort is situated on the banks of Gariep Dam, the largest dam in South Africa and bordering the Gariep Dam Nature Reserve, home to many species of antelope and the Cape Mountain Zebra.

Accommodation consists of 44 two or three bedroom chalets and 12 luxury one or two bedroom chalets. The three star caravan park has 106 sites all with power and serviced by two ablution facilities. All 16 of the luxury caravan sites have their own ablution facility.

The Resort has a restaurant and a ladies bar that can accommodate up to 100 guests and it is no trouble for the Gariep team to cater for lapa events, street braais, beach parties or any tailored theme evening.

Forever resorts Gariep offers three conference facilities that can accommodate between 12 to 300 delegates. All rooms are equipped with modern conference equipment and a variety of accommodation to ensure that delegates have a comfortable stay.

The dam is a water sport enthusiast’s paradise, stretching 90 kilometres in length and 374 square kilometres in size, making sailing, jet skiing and power boating a pleasure.
